Divine Embryo Vandalizing Shit

Biotic Scopes of a Nomad

March 23rd, 2001 was the last episode of WCW's Monday Night Nitro. The end of the Monday Night Wars and the beginning of VKM's monopolization of the sport that loved since birth..(thanks pops! Rest in peace..) This also signaled the end of my loyalty to industry that had finally succumb to the "Evil Empire" that is the WWE.

With deep pockets and an even bigger ego Vince Kennedy McMahon purchased a miss-guided ECW and a decaying WCW. Thus leaving us the die hard wrestling fan with nothing but his sick, homo erotic, racist  version of pro wrestling that he called Sports Entertainment.

What was left for a die hard like myself to watch?

Well I did what any real fan would do.. Go out and find pro wrestling where ever it may be. I started collecting Japanese wrestling tapes. Pancrase, Pride FC, even old NWA and ECW tapes. anything to quench my never ending thirst for one on one combat.

I would be a liar if I were to claim to never had watched WWF(e). but with every attempt I would reminded of how much I'm not watching pro wrestling but instead watching racially and politically motivated story lines that were intended to entertain but served the purpose of insulting me.

About a year later I became more and more uninterested in the business. Until I read some report of a father and son combo attempting to start up a wrestling promotion called "TNA"? That combo was none other than Jerry and Jeff Jarrett. I'll be honest and tell you i was never a fan of "Double J" Mr. "Slap Nutz" himself Jeff Jarrett. Mainly because i thought of him as a rip off of my childhood favorite "Nature Boy"
Ric Flair. But the fact that he was attempting to eventually challenge Vince for a share of the industry... I was behind them 100%.

I order my first ppv and was immediately at awe when I was introduced to the high flying, death defying, no limits known as the >X< Division. It was a triple ladder match that featured a new breed of warriors, young men named AJ Styles.(who I remembered from the dying days of WCW.)

Low Ki (now known as Senshi), who made me think of what "The Great Muta" would do if put in an Octagon. and former ECW TV champion Jerry Lynn.

I began ordering their weekly Wednesday PPV's. and hosting TNA parties every Wednesday night.

Although the work rate was unrivaled to anything on national TV. TNA still came off as minor league and wrestling critics came out in full force predicting TNA's demise week after week, month after month, year after year..

And here we are today 2006, four years later. TNA has a national TV deal with a very dedicated Spike TV. TNA has been putting out the by far the best and most consistent monthly pay per views to date. and even the "critics"  have humbled themselves in agreement.

Now finally my passion for the sport has return and now I live to see TNA recapture the hearts of the some 7 million fans like myself that stopped watching all together after end of Monday Night Wars.

The Revolution is being televised every Thursday Night @11pm on Spike TV!!!!!!!!
