- Shaanti Williams was born and raised in East Orange, NJ. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design. He is a working illustrator as well as a teacher of visual arts.
Good times at M.I.C.E., my first time at a convention. It featured a lot of amazing artwork by independent and mainstream artists. Shared a table with Zombie Romance – Krystilyn Stevenson: Illustrator, Animator, Designer. She displayed her illustrations and designs on a variety of products, prints, posters, zines, T- shirts, earrings, necklaces, buttons, stuffed animals, etc. (You can find them at her Zombie Romance Etsy site ) I describe her work as dark, elegant and cute. It was fun to watch people. I had nothing to sell so I brought a couple of sample puppets from my stop motion film: “The Box”. Seeing all that talent in one space inspired me immensely. One,
